Looking kinda dark down here. Good thing Lily dog & I were out enjoying sunshine just after the sunrise (way way too early for me!).

Hump day has arrived... go ahead and rain and give us great weather for next week when I am up at the lake.

Yikes! I don't want that to happen! But I have to try it once this morning. I did the hot dog thing yesterday and it worked for one pill, then he got wise and spit the second one out. Thanks for the warning though MC, I won't do it too much.

Lily's a bit of a smart aleck. She's been known to happily take a pill from my hands, strip the coating off, & spit out the rest. Oh & she also used to hide the pills, so I wouldn't know she hadn't swallowed them (have I mentioned that I'm the one with the lowest IQ).

& she knows all the tricks. Putting a pill at the back of her throat works, but only if I put some peanut butter on the roof of her mouth. Apparently, trying to cough up the pill and lick the pb can't be done together. It's the only time she can't seem to multitask.

It is really cool... I've been popping in to watch over the last 30 or so hours.
Yanive (pronounced Yuh-Neev) owns a music studio and teaches kids to play guitar etc. He adopted a second dog a few months ago and the dog ended up getting terribly sick and almost died. They took the dog to the animal hopsital where he was treated so well and they got him all fixed up. Yanive decided to do this 100 hour guitar marathon with all proceeds going to the animal hospital. Just amazing.
Originally it was going to break a Guiness Record, but he didn't qualify, something to do with not enough volunteers. He went ahead anyway and is sticking with all of the official Guiness rules, like 5 minute break every hour etc.
Joanne Wilder also posted info on this on her facebook page a week or 2 ago, which was awesome.
