Yes please tell us what you seen in the fresh department at superstore, it sounds really awefull but as bad as it is, i would still like to know. Superstore does have good prices but not the best quality of fresh produce or meats, I never purchase meats there. It is too bad because it is a Canadian store, it could just be so much better. Personally I think superstore is just lowering its standards so bad that it will continue to go down hill. I find myself doing so much less shopping there. Red Deer superstore is generally just badly managed. They need to bring in some new manager and assistant managers that actually knows how to run a large store like that.

Unfortunately I think that all superstores that I have been to are poorly managed...

I bought something that had 2 days left on the expiry, got home and noticed that it was so moldy. Upon further investigation I saw that the old sticker was dated for 4 days earlier then the date i bought it on. I was appalled... I took it back and all I got was a oh, hey, sorry, this isn't our policy.

oh, FYI.... if it is an EXPIRY date, it can be changed, if it is a PACKED on date it cannot be changed. DISGUSTING!

OMG I have never thought they could or would change the Exiry date - that is just disgusting. Who ever does that sort of thing should be fired. I wouldn't expect a large food chain like that to stoop so low. Aren't there laws against such underhand practices. see this is just one more reason why i dislike superstore more and more.

Just wanted to say I was in Wal Mart in Kelowna, BC last week and there was a lady in front of that had cart full of stuff and bunch of coupons. Cashier did her job and the lady went home happy that her shopping trip came to $30 and she had cart full of food and different supplies. But what was very surprising is that when the lady was gone and it was my turn the cashier's attitude completely changed. She stated to me: "Do you have any coupons? Because I dont want to see another coupon for a month. I dont get why these coupon people come in on a busy time a day, why cant they wait until the end of the day when its slower, or come in first thing in the morning?" and she kept rolling her eyes and was telling this to all that would listen. I really dont care if I am waiting in line 5 or 20 minutes. If I didnt like it I had an option of changing the line. It was busy that day but we all have our reasons and why wouldnt she save if she can and have coupons. I had no problem with this and not sure why cashier was so rude. Maybe she just had a bad day, but still.

Just wanted to post that cashiers do talk and not so nice things about couponers... they are mostly nice to your face not so much when you are gone.

I kept thinking to myself, thank God I have no coupons ahahah

I was behind a lady this afternoon using a $5 Skinny Cow coupon and free Triscuit coupon at the 67 St Save On Foods. The lady was asking the cashier about stacking coupons and the cashier was pleasant about it she was happy to tell the lady about another lady with a huge stack of coupons the other day.The cashier didn't turn unpleasant about couponing after she left. The only bad couponer was customers son was trying to hide her two coupons in the candy rack.
