This morning I was dreading doing the grocery top up shop.

But since NF had gala apples and big naval oranges on for a mere .67 a lb. I couldn't pass up getting extra of those.
I had the most efficient young man running my order through at the checkout and he did my PM-ing like an old pro!
While checking over the receipt I saw $17.87 for the case of wet cans of cat food I had bought....Uh,uh,uh!
I knew the shelf sticker had it closer to $15.

Sure enough when I went over to the " fix my receipt spot " , the cashier said.. " oh I see, then you get this item free!
Stupid me, I chimed in with " oh no. I think I am only supposed to get $10.00 off "...DUH!!
If DH would have been with me he'd have kicked me.

I really have no idea how she arrived at me getting a refund of $13.45 but I'll accept that, my kitties got a break this time.

Then at Metro I did a very strategic shop cashing in on my Air Miles digital coupons that I downloaded to my AM card.
I bought a single small tomato and apple to earn 3 AM apiece on them.
2L of gingerale @ $1.44 earned me 4 AM
A $1.29 can of Irresistible Brand mixed beans got me 6 AM
Another $1.29 spend on a package of yummy hazelnut wafer cookies earned me 6 more AM.

22 AM earned on $8.56 OOP .

I went to RCSS to grab some of the $2.88 Butter, stocking up for Christmas Baking.

Well I was there I checked the Flashfood App and got a package of Ground Chicken for $3.50, in stock price was $7.
