Sorry for not responding sooner. Yes MrsMer you can totally use your own seeds. I grow round with various seeds.
I've been using grow your own kits for a couple of years. Amazon usually puts in on sale for Black Friday
and I've included another cheaper version as well. I also use a seed starter tray for starting outdoor plants that I purchased from Cdn Tire. link after the seed starter kits.

Flashfood extra lean ground turkey. 5 pkgs just over 500 gm each @$2. We were going to make a batch our normally chicken-based cat food today anyway, so very timely. A batch takes about 11-12 pounds of meat, so I also picked up some chicken breast fillets from one of the local oriental groceries for $2.99 a pound. We usually use about 22 pounds of chicken legs and/or drumsticks, so this batch will be considerably less work than usual for almost exactly the same cost based on the prices for dark meat this week.
A lovely black leather purse from winners $99.99-100.00 in gift cards from my dear son and his family =$22.02
