I bought another stock up food bank item at No Frills today:

1 kg No Name Peanut Butter (different varieties) are $4.00 each

There is an app offer of 2,000 Optimum points ($2.00 value) for every 1 kg jar purchased.

There is also a digital offer you can load of 500 Optimum points (50 cent value) for every 1 kg jar purchased.

So, after points values, it works out to $1.50 per large 1 kg jar of No Name Peanut Butter.

RCSS $5 Flashfood box- We have been using up everything in it to plan meals. Using the potatoes (making mashed) to go with our roast beef for dinner.

Walmart $2.47 Coffee mate creamer- expiry March 2026. The outer plastic lid was broken but it has a sealed twist lid...Like to keep our coffee and creamer stocked up!

Sobeys has another Kraft/Heinz promotion, this time running from January 1 - February 11, 2026. When you purchase 6 participating products, you'll receive 1,000 Scene points ($10 value). Today, I did this:

6 x Original Kraft Dinner @ $1.99 each = $11.94

earned 1,000 points/$10 value

So, after points value, it works out to $1.94 for 6 boxes of Original Kraft Dinner or about 32 cents each.

I did 2 separate transactions of 6 x Original Kraft Dinner each in order to get 2 x 1,000 points.

This is a great way to stock up the food banks on Kraft Dinner!

It was great while it lasted but my local Sobeys has removed the "1,000 points WUB6" shelf tags from all the individual boxes of Kraft Dinner. It shows the same thing online. Hopefully, there will be more good Kraft/Heinz deals that work with this offer while it runs until February 11, 2026.

I spent 10.60 at Safeway and used $10 in Scene points to pay. I charged the 60 cents to my Westjet credit card as they offered $4 in West Jet points for using it in Jan. I think I made money on that deal.

RCSS had 1.13kg roasted cashews for $10 (normally 31$) on clearance. I think it's a pretty good price, at $4/lb. I like cashews, but I've got just so much stuff to eat. I had to give it a regretful pass. May the Grocery Gods forgive me.

NoF had 3x 4-litre jugs of choc milk for $4 each, with a couple of days before sell-by date. I'll freeze a couple, as I drink the other slowly.

Saved 24 cents per litre filling up at Costco-this one has the best gas prices in town. Then I got 2 large bath towels marked at 9.99 but rang in at 7.99. At the thrift store half price day I got two black and white dressy tops to go with my long black skirt for formal evenings on my cruise. Total was 9.50. Now it is time to pack.
