Co-op has extra lean ground beef for 6.59/kg - there was a limit of two value packs, think we will go back for more during the week.
That's an amazing price for here - for ground beef regular, let alone extra lean.

Went to RCSS yesterday to roam around. Noticed a skid of Ziploc holiday containers marked .94 cents.
Went home and cleaned out my coupon bin, all my piles of coupons waiting to be sorted, walmart magazines waiting to have coupons cut. Found 5 x $1 off any Ziploc brand container. Went back to RCSS and bought 5 for a total of $.60 after sale and coupons. Went out to my car and cut the Glade coupons out. They had the 3 pack glade candles on for $2.24 so used the $2 off any Glade coupon. Paid $2.65 total for 5 x 3pk candles.
Purchased two curtain rods at Home Depot in-store:
https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.5...000655379.html
Online the price shows as $12.59, and in-store it showed as $11.99 ... so I took a picture of the shelf-price with my phone.
Got to the checkout, and the curtain rod rang up as $12.59 so I pointed out the incorrect price. The cashier said he would adjust the price to $11.99.....but I pointed out the SCOP program sticker on the counter, which he either wasn't familiar with, or simply didn't understand....likely the latter. He said in order to do SCOP he would need to call an employee, have he/she verify the incorrect price, and then adjust the price. I told him I had a picture of the shelf-sticker, he looked at it, confirmed it was incorrect and then marked down BOTH curtain rods to $1.99 each
Walked out with 2 curtain rods for $3.98 (before tax).....84% savings :)

Well, today was the day for my donation to Joanne's House here in Ajax. I believe in total it ended up being...
Crest Toothpaste (36): $52.56 - PM(NF; $20.88) = $35.80 (Taxed) - $36.00(18 @ $2 WUB2) = $0.00 (Just got bags each time so we didn't have to deal with a neg. total at the till)
Honey Shreddies (6): $25.47 - PM(4 @ $1.67 Loblaws) - PM(2 @ $1.67 YIG) = $10.02 - $6.00(6 @ $1) = $4.02
Retail was $84.86
Final OOP was $4.02

1. bought 2 x $10 PC gift cards, redeeming 20000 points (20000 points =$20)
2. PC Plus offer for deli dept. foods, loaded
3. quiche = $7.99; 4 x quiche = ~$32.00-$16.00 pink sticker discount = ~$16.00 (no tax, since you cook at home)
6. earned 4000 PC Plus points for deli dept. foods ($4.00)= ~$16.00-$4.00=~$12.00
7. paid with gift cards--> $20.00 gift cards - ~$12.00 for 4 quiche = ~$8.00 left on the gift card
Out of Pocket =$0.00

Did my shopping at No frills, didn`t find any clearance deals I needed but lots of stuff was on sale that I needed for DDs lunches
Nordica Cottage Cheese Salted Caramel , FPC
Pepsi 12pk, PMd Valu Mart 3.69, Had $1 coupons nearby
Kraft Peanut Butter 1KG, $2.88
Maple Leaf Bacon, 2.88
Nutella 4.88
PC Organic Homo 4L 7.99 (I usually pay $10 for this at Valu-Mart :( )
A couple of Cranberry Febreze Air Effects left over from xmas for $.94 - $1 coupon at Zehrs = $.06
There was a guy standing at the clearance rack with a can and he wasn't sure about it because there were no prices posted. I told him I had looked it up online and gave him coupons to get some free. He was pleased as punch. Great trip!
The motor for my garage door is giving me error codes which usually isn't good news. Found the same one on sale at Sears for $129.00 and DH can just swap out the older one for the new one and perhaps even repair the old one when the weather is warmer. I don't want my garage door to either lock me in or lock me out when it fails. I am relieved!
Just a small shop but at multiple stores, I got:
4 x Vh pouches for free @ RCSS. A little bummed - was waiting for a trade to come in, but it hasn't made it yet.
3 x Arm & Hammer 50 loads detergent for $3.95 at Rexall
2 x Palmolive 650mL at Lovell Drugs for $1.60 (on sale, $1.59 - $1.00)
6 x Cream of Wheat Instant Cereal at No Frills for $3.24... store special I think, they were marked down to $1.54 - $1 coupons.
