Walmart had 10x 750mL chocolate milk for $0.62 each and 3x 1.1 kg pies for $3.15 each

Found a bag of 16x Iogo yogourt packages outside RCSS. Today was the last date of their Best Before, so I took them home. I don't normally bother with yogourt, but these are free, so what the heck.

Walmart had 3x more 1.1kg pies for $3.15 and 800g roast chickens for $5, because they were closing down the section and this was the last day to sell 200+ hens. Not a great deal, but $2.84/lb is okay.

How do you manage to do that?

Do they take previously marked $8 or $9 packages of meat and slap a $5 sticker on it?
Do they place discounted packages in a certain area?

I've never seen Sav-On do a discount area. The most I have ever see them do is throw a few Manager's discount stickers on various items throughout the store. I would have to shop every aisle in hopes of ever spotting those discounts.

They have green plenty for 20 stickers on them and when they ring in at the till the price for 4 packs drops to $20. Needless to say I choose the biggest packs I can find. It is a real bonus if you can find short dated meat with say a 2 or 3$ off sticker on it as well-then you can get a pack for 2-3$ as the deals stack. The plenty for 20 deals are scattered in the meat dept-usually pork chops, beef stir fry, some ground meats etc.

Sounds like a great discovery for you.

How heavy are those packages, on average? I only care about the price / pound, when calculating for value.

Walmart had 30x eggs for $5.09

RCSS had 12x chocolate pie shells for $0.94 each. I had been watching them sit on the clearance rack for weeks (months?) at $2.49 each and waiting for them to drop the price.

the plenty for twenty packages vary quite a bit in weight and of course by type of meat.

Very surprisingly Circle K has Dairyland butter on sale for $3.99 until March 3-time to stock my freezer. I have been paying 5.48 at Costco so that is a great deal.

I just HAD to go to a different NF to get 4 more jars of the Dark Roast NN ( 1 kg size ) of Peanut Butter.
Earned 12,000 PC points. Total of 6 jars.
