$1.00 Runners at Walmart

I think this was the craziest deal I've ever seen. Strolling through Walmart today, I half-heartedly checked out the clearance shoes at the back of the department. Found a pair of boys' size 5 Rawlings athletic shoes (all black) for $1.00. Regular price was $22.50. I kept looking at the price tag, thinking that some other number was missing from the price. Anyway, I took them to the checkout, and they scanned at $1.00. The cashier did a double take.

I don't know that these are available anywhere else. This was the last pair in the store, and none of the other shoes were marked down to $1.00.

These will be for a 10-year-old boy I know. He's not into brands yet, but even if doesn't love the shoes, I'm sure he can use them for playing outside!

I'm going to check my Walmart to see if they still have them. I had purchased exactly that pair just a few weeks ago when they were $5, 'cuz I almost always miss the days when they mark them down from $3 to $1. Scooped up a different pair in white (not Rawlings) for $3 last week. My oldest is so hard on his shoes, I'm stocking up now for school! He went through two sizes last year, too...

i bought a pair for my neighbour a size 12 last week and 2 pairs of size 1 's for my son for a 1.00 what a steal reg 15 bucks each ... 3 pairs for 3.00 bucks can't go wrong

A bit ago a found a size 8 (men's) shoe for $1. It will take my son 2 years to grow into it but for $1 I couldn't pass it up. I also figured if it didn't fit right that I could donate it. Someone could use them and it didn't hurt my pocket for $1.
