I have déjà vu ALL THE TIME. Sometimes it is with people, sometimes it is places, other times it is just me doing something and it feels so familiar.
I always take it as a reassurance that something is right.
My most significant experience was when I was living in Toronto. I was walking up Roncesvalles past a bank and there was a woman trying to get into the bank with a stroller. I felt as if it had happened before and I held open the door for her, so I went over and grabbed the door to help her in.
I started walking back up the street and was walking past a church and a tree limb broke off and fell on the sidewalk in front of me. I will always remember this because it taught me to always follow my instincts. If I had not grabbed that door, I would have been taken out by that limb and probably would have died or something.Love like crazy everyday and smile.

Always and it's really freaky. All my life, sometimes it was years between events sometimes just days. Most of the time it's stuff I have dreamed of and when the feeling hits it's like you are in suspended animation for that moment.

Well put, Patty - suspended animation - that really describes what I've felt, too.
I've gotten it TONS of times and sometimes it's downright scary.
However, I know in reality that it's a false sense of a memory, basically a hiccup between short- and long-term memory.

I get it all the time.
When it happens, it makes me feel sick.
Usually it's a memory or experience.

It's happened often enough, but it's always been a really insignificant event, like me standing in front of a store, or driving down a road, and a spark goes in my brain that says "I've been/done this before".

I get it all the time but it's usually really random things as well. Like the way things are laid out in a room I'm in etc. Sometimes it's things people say, but again it's usually where i am when those things are said that resonates the most and not the words. Does that make any damn sense? lol

I get that ALL the time..
It really flabbergasts me .. then I try and remember why/where/how i've seen/done that.. never can manage.. but it's the weirdest feeling.

I used to get it when I was a child, but not in many years. It doesn't make sense because you would think I have a lot more things that I've done before now than when I was a kid.
