I leaned into the fridge to get the cream this a.m. and saw a tub of Lactose Free Cottage Cheese?? When the he*l did I buy that?! Then I remembered on the 2nd last shop I did I was grabbing a few extra bags of frozen perogies and grabbed 2 tubs of sour cream to have on hand.
Oops! They look so much alike, the two tubs.
Good thing I love the taste of cottage cheese, I can eat it by itself with a sprinkle of S & P . No one else here will touch it so THAT was what I ate for breakfast this morning.

I like cottage cheese but it has to be the 14% one. If you have any fresh chives, sprinkle some on and mix. Gives cottage cheese a whole new life. My Mom used to do that all the time.
Toasted sesame seed bagel with lots of butter and cup of coffee. Thats it for me

French toast-found a cracked egg in the carton and had some sourdough that needed used up. Waste not, want not as our elders used to say.

DD requested chaffles today, and so it was.
I made 5 of them mixing 3 medium eggs with 1 1/2 cups fine grated mozzarella cheese.
My waffle maker cooperated fully, which was sneaky of him as often he makes the first 2 of anything a challenge.
Bon appetite!
Note to @Lynn49 not sure if you've made these? A no carb, gluten free breakfast!

It was time to dust off our Egg McMuffin maker! Used Marc Angelo frozen sausage patties for DD's and some crumbled bacon on mine. Used the plastic cheese for DD's ( BD slices ugh...) but at her request and used real extra old cheddar in mine.
We are both happy! Nom, Nom , Nom

I made a Fritatta for breakfast: eggs, homefries, some onion, chopped bacon, salt and pepper to taste.
