-
Wed, Jul 20th, 2011, 01:01 AM #1
Last night I realised that I only had 13 days to use up my $5 off wub 3 gillette products.. So Walmart was a priority today!
First shopping trip:
x12 Gillette foamy shave creme = + $3.81
(out of aspirin... I'm hoping they will get some in stock before $6 coupons expire!)
I'm planning on getting tostitos in all my trips today, and I find a awesome little present sitting on a shelf!
Some awesome person left 7 "buy 2 tortilla chips get free dip" coupons... and from my shopping list I realized I was buying 14 bags of chips so it was perfect!!! Thank you whoever you are!!!!
x 4 Tostitos = $8
x2 Tostitos Cheese dip! = FREE!!!
Second trip:
x2 tostitos = $4
x1 Tostitos cheese dip! = FREE!
x12 Gillette foamys creme = + $3.81
I will complete this tomorrow, I have to get off the computer...
(sorry its a "To be continues!!" but its mostly the same..)
On a different note my Dollerama finally is accepting coupons!!!!

how'd it go at dollarama? i've been there twice in the last couple of weeks and had problems both times.
the first time they said that they weren't accepting coupons, and this was confirmed with the manager working at the time. the second time i went in i tried to buy the nivea hand soap refill for two dollars and they wouldn't take my two dollar coupon. they said the coupon couldn't zero out the total. i was kind of choked being that i drove all the way from kelowna to get deals there.
i've also written dollarama customer service twice regarding their coupon policy at the vernon store and still no response two weeks later. not a happy camper!

Nice! Wish I was able to scoop some of those free salsa coupons! I never really thought to look right on the shelves for people leaving coupons. Most stores I go to look pretty "clean" and coupon-less though!

I wrote to dollerama CS also, but also no response and its been about the same amount of time as your emails..
It was the Vernon Location I was in yesterday..
I didn't actually buy anything at Dollerama (except batteries for the baby swing)..
When I asked I was told that I could use my coupons as long as it didn't take the entire price off (so like if you want to buy a tube of crest TP you would use the $0.75 coupon and pay $0.25. ETC; But you can't get an item free
)
Also, HO just contacted them and told them that they could only accept "Scannable" coupons... I asked how I would know if its scannable or not, the checkout lady was really nice
She laughed and said "I have no idea, I guess you just have to hope to he$@ that it will scan
"..
That was Tuesday at around 4-5pm so thats probably a good time to go in.. (she was a blonde lady, young, I don't think any or much make-up
Because other times I have been told things like "absolutely not!" and stuff..
I'm going to wait a few weeks and see if they clear up their coupon issues maybe they will begin to accept coupons that make items free and stuff?

I went in on Sunday. They also told me about the "scannable" thing. I told the girl that typically coupons don't scan in Canada, that an American thing. She let me use a non-scannable coppertone (think it was coppertone) coupon to get $1.00 of a $2.00 bottle of sunscreen.
It's surprising to me that HO isn't emailing anyone back. Poor customer service in my opinion!
Hopefully they get better. Let me know if you have better luck next time. I don't think I'm going to drive to Vernon until I know that they have there stuff together
