I can't think of anything I really forgot to do this summer that I had on my To Do List, but I am sure there is something. Oh yes, I forgot to go swimming! How crazy is that.
As for what I am looking forward to... well, I have an unhealthy obsession with cute scarves. Not the bulky, big-keep your chin/bottom half of your face warm in -25 kind of scarves. But the cute, light, fashionable kind. So I am excited for it to be under 15 degrees so I can start wearing those.

summer went way to quick. dh and I had wanted to take the girls to the zoo and go camping but we never did. I love fall. we went to a fall fair last weekend and it was a blast. we always go apple picking too, so that'll be coming up in the next couple of weeks. not to mention the pumpkin patches!
When life hands you lemons, make a lemon pie... lemonade will be all like WTH?!?

Nothing leftover from summer, it went as expected.
Totally looking forward to the cooler temperatures, lovely rain, and crunching through leaves!

Summer leftovers - Getting "Fill" into our old pool area (we ripped it all out this summer) and then getting the fence up! It's taking FOREVER to get the fill and we can't do the fence until the trucks are done (it's an estimated 4 dump trucks of fill). I'm hoping it's all done by mid-October....
Fall - It's my favourite season! We already have Apple Picking, Pie Making, Hayrides, Thanksgiving plans, Halloween Costumes/Plans all set. I'm excited!

I hate summer! I stay reclusive. A/C on. Lights off. Tan? *Turns up the brightness on computer screen*
So yes. I did everything I needed to get done.
I love autumn! I can breathe, I can go running and not sweat and be gross, the trees look beautiful when I go up north for Thanksgiving, clothing is bulky and cute! Into it!

Nothing I forgot to do this summer. I'm looking forward to autumn. The temps are cooling down although this week it's suppose to be 25-26 c a few days. I like the cool, fresh air. The other day I sat outside for hours because the humidity was low, cool breeze.... very nice! This morning when I woke up, I actually put a light sweater on, lol. Autumn is my favorite season.

I ignored spring cleaning with respect to my wardrobe so this is now a pluss because I don't have to unpack my fall/winter clothes
.
Fall means it's time to bake and make all those long cooking hearty dishes that warm your tummy

Summer was too short and I hate the cold

It's hard to wake up in the morning and I want to eat all day lol
I definitely had less bbq than the previous years. It rained on almost every week-end, either Saturday or Sunday. Very few week-ends when both days were sunny.

I completely agree Jina. I hate being cold and this summer was so cold and wet...
I hope next summer is a scorcher so my kidlets and I can play in the surf, the pools and waterslides. Its way easier to cool down than warm up (when my toes get cold, forget it, I'm gonna have chills all day).
But fall is here so I am looking forward to thanksgiving, to Halloween and raking up leaves. I dont like yardwork in the summer (too many mosquitos) but I do love raking up and filling up those lawn pumpkin bags in October. The average dog
is nicer
than the average person.

I have several outdoor projects still pending but now that hayfever is over i can get back outside to do them. I found it bad this year the last month or so and it kept me indoors more than I cared to be.
I don't really look forward to fall because it means back to school and I like having the kids home for summer.
