Hi!!!
I've been working alot lately and not I am wanting to spend some. Nothing all at once but gradually and somewhat related to if I ever want to buy a house later on of my own, it'll also have use of it. I am not sure what to buy first??
On my list I have:
- TV for my room [can act as a computer montitor] [~$300 - $350 looking to spend]
- Playstation 4 [PS4] [$300]
- Trip [~1,000 for 3 - 4 days by myself or with friend/family - more likely myself]
- A new cellphone [$200 - $300] [Gift for mom but this can be overtime as she's picking the phone and not in a rush, I said when she's ready I buy] - Hoping to buy the phone Unlocked full priced cuz she's not on contract and not looking to go on contract as he rarely uses the phone.
I think that's it so far on my Wanted list

By the sounds of it a trip for yourself first.. just cuz i think you've worked hard enough to earn it..
then or maybe instead the tv for your room.. so when your done working so hard.. you can relax and watch TV or talk to us
then the PS4. but thats only if you have enough time after working so hard.. or enough energy to play it.
then get Mom her phone.. by the time maybe she'll have decided on what she wants.. btw. Koodo is good for no contract.Be Strong

Simple as that!

I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

I like the idea of something tangible. Something that you have, you own, you can use over and over.. know what I mean? A trip is great for the three or four days that you're on it, but in the end you've got nothing to show for it except perhaps some pictures and a couple of souvenirs. Just my two cents Whatever you get, I'm sure you'll be happy with. But make sure you let us know what it is!

Well PS4 doesn't come out till Nov so it might be hard to get especially since everyone will want it for Christmas. Can you wait for Black Friday/ Boxing Day sales for the TV? I would do the trip first. Its great to get out of your normal every day routine,
de-stress, relax. Wish I was on vacation now...

Thanks for everyone's idea.
Sometimes it's hard to buy things when a person knows they have a lot of things wanted and which one to buy first.
Like this year, I barely put my work money "into good use" as in buying something I enjoy. Like since January as a starting of a new work year/pay, I've been barely used my money [not including basic payments like car related things, once in a while coffee in the morning, cellphone bill, etc.] towards enjoyment or "things".
Things I've bought this year so far for enjoyment:
- 2 T-shirt
- A pair of jeans
- taking each of my parents out for dinner once a month
- Bluetooth headset [today ]
- 1 time to a movie theater
so total spending is ~ $150 for enjoyment up to now ....... This is for real!!! I rarely go out with friends as I work 12 - 14 sometimes 16 hours a day. I barely take time off, so I am working and sleeping. If I do have to take time off, it's only a day or two max but it's important things, not something I just take off to relax and go out with friends.

My Username says it all ..... go for the trip.
Material goods get obsolete, damaged, lost, stolen. Experiences like trips bring memories that last a lifetime.

Travel - lots of great deals on line. Stuff is good to have, but the memories of a fun trip stay with you on those 10-16 hour work days.
