I feel your pain. I purposely walked around for an extra 10 minutes last night until I saw a "coupon friendly cashier" open a till. It's really not worth going to unknown cashiers if you have overage (aka zantac), or printables.
I had a 17 year old male cashier at WM know-it-all tell me he couldn't take photocopies with the Scotts $10 coupon. I said, not copied, printed them myself. He thought he was so smart when he stated that the UPC's were the same, so they were photocopied. Ugh. I guess he should let smartsource, etc know that they are supposed to put DIFFERENT UPC codes on EVERY single coupon they send out into the world.
Some people's kids...

I was only able to find razors at one store.
Thankfully I was able to use them, but she had to go check with the supervisor first, as she wasn't sure if she could lower the price of the coupon or not.
Sucks that you had such a hard time. It's tough to defend yourself against the photocopy issue. But as far as UPCs go, you should have just told them to look at the UPC on each of the razors. UPCs don't change, it's how a scanner recognizes what the product/coupon is.

I wonder if this all across Walmart .. I had the same experience with my coupons ... I even showed them the part of the coupon that has the wavey lines they wont photocopy, as proof it's original .. csr just said nope its a copy ??
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!
I have nothing to do today and hope to be half done by noon.

I try to always go for a younger cashier because they usually know the terminology better. One cashier that I've had at WM thought one per purchase was one her customer but she kindly told me she would separate my bills. No offence to anyone but there are some serious old frumps working too long there that don't want to deal with our coupons and are too ignorant to learn what the words on the coupons actually mean.

I would not use any printed coupons at my Walmart. Their first reaction if they are copies and then they might run to the Manager to check it. I am usually feeling ashamed and embarrassed by that time and my heart is pumping so hard, face gets warmer, so it is not worth for me to do it. Also, would not use coupons when my husband is with me because he gets annoyed and gets upset with me if a cashier questions a coupon. Now I try to do my weekly shopping during the week so that my husband does not go with me.

I feel so bad about this, not a way to treat someone. I hope your partner comes to his/her senses and learns to support you when you need it, not pile on. Sorry!
