The Christie factory on Parklawn is closing soon. Looks like they are just clearing what they have and not restocking. Here's what I saw today:

Chunks Ahoy - 300g, $1.80 buy one get one free
    Chips Ahoy - 500g, $2.60 bogo free
    Chips Ahoy - 300g, $1.80 bogo free
Chips Ahoy rainbow - 300g, $1.80 bogo free

Bags of 6 sleeves of Social Tea cookies for $4.00 (may have been more sleeves in the bag....not sure)
    Bits and Bites bag $1.00

Due dates were pretty much Mar/Apr 2014

    Happy cookie eating!

Do you know when this place is officially closing? Do you also know the exact address? I live downtown but wouldn't mind making a trip there maybe tomorrow or Thursday if I can figure out where it is and how to get there!

That's too bad if they are closing. Hoping they are not moving overseas for cheap labour just to make a few extra bucks

I know it's on the lakeshore, close to where all those shady motels used to be but they tore them down and built up condos. There is also a marina and park right across the street.

When I was there last weekend, the sign said it was closing on September 27, so this Friday.

Thanks. Not sure if there will be anything left, but I am going to go Thursday since it's my only day free this week and check it out. If anyone else goes between now and Thursday can they report back on what is left since it sounds like they aren't making anymore items to put out?

That's sad. 500+ long time employees out of a job and a proposal to build 20+ condo towers on site. I hope no one buys condos there, would serve the greedy owners well.

The property is over 600,000 square feet. I'm sure there will be one of each there.

Same thing as Honest Ed ..more condos coming up on that site .

Lot of poor and frugal shoppers used to shop at Honest Ed..I guess some of them will miss it
