I decided to drop into Walmart on the way buy today - wondering if the Satin Care price was back to normal or not.

(Scarborough and Etobicoke Walmarts are back to the full price ($3.16) per can.)

I had two more $5 Gilette coupons, but the sale price is long gone.
After reading the coupon twice, I decided to try the travel size ($1.47 each - 70 grams) satin care. After much scrutiny by the cashier and CSR they accepted it, so I got 6 of them for free. I figured out before that the overage of about 50-60 cents actually covers the tax (barely) on the pre-coupon price.

First the CSR insisted it wasn't good on travel size -- I pointed out the coupon doesn't specify size. Then she insisted that it was "one coupon per purchase" meaning I couldn't use two coupons in one transaction. I pointed out the definition of that, vs. "one coupon per customer." Then she said I could use one coupon for all 6 of them because the value of the coupon was greater than the cost of three. I informed her of the coupon policy. Then she went back to the CS desk to check... 5 minutes later the cashier returned (sans the CS rep) and just rang it in without saying anything. The cashier was nice, the CS rep wasn't happy at all about it.

Besides the six travel size cans, I grabbed another Lysol No Touch (on sale for $9.97, minus the $5 coupon, and I'll do another MIR to my mother-in-law for the cost) and a free Meow Mix market select cup (with the printable coupon) for a total OOP of $6.32, which included around $2.50 in tax.

I had my bank card at the ready, but made a last minute decision to use one of my $10 gift cards (free from Stouffer's) for the balance. So not only did I not pay anything, my MIL will be getting $11.47+ in the form of a rebate check eventually.

It was a small shopping trip. The last two weeks (when we were doing pet food/groceries etc.) I was doing $25 - $40 in coupons each trip, which barely put a dent in the total price. But I now have 100+ cans of Fancy Feast, 36 trays of Whiskas wet and 24 cans of Meow Mix stockpiled. Along with 8 boxes and about 9 bottles of Sunlight laundry soap, 6 bottles of dish soap and another dozen cases of pop merged into the stockpile. Oh, and a dozen each of my St. Ives lotion and Dole Fruit 'n Crisp cups, and 30 loaves of Wonder bread (25 cents each) in a freezer.

    Good deals!
I will have to print out the WM policy and read it carefully before I go back there. They give me a hastle all the time for identical coupons in one order. They keep telling me that "one coupon per purchase" which is what it says on the coupon is also in their policy, and for THEM it means one coupon per order (I KNOW THAT'S NOT THE REAL MEANING).

So....last night, I did 3 separate orders and just left the rest of the stuff there because of their so called policy???

FYI: Does anyone have some sort of coupon decifering document that I could bring shopping with me that actually explains the meaning of: "one coupon per purchase"?
