I was at the LD in Kamloops trying to use up my dove coupons.. at the customer service, she said that there is now a limit of 8 coupons for stacking. I had 2 coupons that save $2 wub2 plus a $1 off coupon. I asked her if I could use 9 because of the free dove soap wub 3 dove products.... anyways.. just thought I'd share.

Do you mean 8 per transaction? Or per item? I was just at mine yesterday and did a huge stacking trip with no worries and then she said I should come back in August when they have their stacking/coupon class?? Maybe it is different rules at diff locations?

Yeah I was at LD the other day and they told me that I wasn't able to stack any of my coupons because they all said 'one coupon per purchase' I was pretty miffed and asked since when. She said it was new policy. I left without buying anything. When I got to the car I called another location and expressed my annoyance with the 'new policy' and the manager advised me that there was NO new policy and that coupon stacking was what it always was. In my experience there is a lot of discrepensys between locations and it's getting ridiculous.

I pm Loreal hair color from pharmasave for $6.99 and used 2 coupons ($4 &$3) and she let me use 9 dove body washes. She had a laminated coupon policy change.

Diff locations diff policies. I know because I've been LD hopping the last year
When they start changing the rules, I just go to a diff location.

I find that with all stores. ex. my local sdm will take printable with no issue and others won't.... it is really frustrating.

Same here.... there is only one cashier I like at LD she is always so sweet. She told me that lots of people have different ideas of how to interperet the wording on coupons. As she says "one coupon per purchase" means that I cant stack that single coupon. BUT, when she wasnt working they refused to let me stack... I personally think it's ridiculous, there is only one location I never have trouble with ever... but they are way too far from me and unless I have a friend with a car willing to take me then I am usually S.O.L

Actually LD updated and posted their current coupon policy on their website on April 13, 2011 and it has been mentioned and discussed numerous times on SC. Companies started changing the wording on their coupons to prevent stacking so LD had no choice but to follow the limitations put out by the manufacturers. If they stack coupons that state they cannot be used with another coupon they will not be getting their money back. As etnical couponers it is our responsibility to keep up with coupon policies and honor them. Please check your coupons before putting your stacks together.

I had this happen to me the other day too and I was completely confused. I was told I couldn't stack my coupons because they said "one coupon per purchase" on them. I usually have a couple of cashiers that I always go to but I'd never seen this guy before. I just politely told him not to bother. I will just go to my LD tonight and ask 1 of the girls I know what's up.

I always have problems at 8th street! Lawson has never given me problems, they are always my back up plan for when 8th street doesn't allow me to. I was so upset because I had to do a big diaper/formula shop. I have learned to call ahead now, lol. Then I make sure that whoever answers the phone will be there when I arrive just so that I can ask for them at the front desk if there are any problems.

I always check my coupons before putting together my stacks. None of them ever say 'cannot be combined with another coupon' !! That is why I am always surprised when they don't allow me to stack. Once they wouldn't let me use a similac check with a coupon, which is wrong because the check is entered as tender and doesn't even count as a coupon. Boy was I frustrated.
