Awe. I was having a down day and this brightened it. So wonderful of you to take her in when she was in need. She looks like a lovely cat. Her kittens are adorable!

Just imagine what would have happened if you hadn't " happened along " and took her in? Those kittens and that beautiful Mama cat are so blessed. Thanks for posting the pics for us all to coo over!

Gah! I woke up this morning to find Lucy in the process of moving all the kittens back behind our washing machine! Silly kitty, they can't live there!
Now I'll have to get hubby to move the dryer for me, so I can get back in there and put the babies back in their box. I'll have to try to think of a way to block off the sides of the washer and dryer so she won't be as tempted to move them.

Gah, I know it's tough when mama wants to move them - ours tried on day three...
What helped is to put the box in a very out of the way spot so she feels they are safe. We have ours tucked under a small table in the living room, closed on three sides, but so mama can still get out easily, and we can still check what's going on.
