Hmmm- that's true- you are in the hand deliverable area... I *ALMOST* Hand delivered one of my packages but decided time was against me and that Canada Post would do a better job of ensuring it's safe arrival.

Your buddy must live fairly close by judging by your mail date and ETA date... I would say the Calgary region perhaps???

will reply to the thread soon. my buddy will get her package soon and that'll make me happier I'm sure. =) it's medium weight, can be carried by one person but I wouldn't walk with it for more than a block or two (HINT HINT, to my buddy who asked about how heavy their package is from BC?) =)

thanks for the hint PO is about a 5 minute walk away (10 if munchkin comes with me) but I think I will be able to handle it walking then.

Here's what I've been up to for the last 2 days straight! 6 dozen cookies ready for the Christmas craft fair on Saturday. Tomorrow it's wreaths made from cupcakes, Christmas trees made from star cookies, fancy cupcakes and my nephew's 1st bday cake (2 tier topsy turvy full of cute little penguins) WHEW I'm tired thinking about it! It's also hubby's bday tomorrow so I have to cook 6 cornish hens and make him a cherry cheesecake....SO anyone who shows up here tomorrow to help I'll tell you who your buddy is LOL

btw you mentioned that you are always looking for unique cake pans, well what about unique cookie cutters??

yes I am always looking for cool cookie cutters too! I have to be honest, I despise doing the royal icing on those cookies but I'm a sucker for how cute they look when they are done. I did 6 dozen and it took me all day yesterday and all day again today Hopefully I'll sell them all!
