Could someone help me out? How do I make a referral link? (what information needs to be in it?) How do you earn points from your referrals? Do you get some kind of percentage of points based on the number of points they earn? I signed up under another SC member in Dec 2009, but that member is no longer active.

Angela - you can make a referral link by logging in and clicking the promote top menu drop down and choosing banners. In addition to banners it shows you a hyperlink. It looks like this with your own code at the end

How do referrals help earn bucks?

Each time a referral wins by searching, you also get points. But it's only on searches.

So if your referral wins 11, 8, 7, 11 - so will you.
If they do an offer for 24 and survey for 100 and 4sb bonus code - you receive nothing.

The extra "search bucks" stops when your referral reaches 1000 pts in search wins. So basically a referral who is active can be worth 2 x $5 amazon gift cards and a bit.
