    I was coming off the subway when 2 guys attempted to mug me. Not knowing what else to do I pretended to be an immigrant with a poor grasp on English.

    Amazingly this worked and they left me alone but this shook me up

    Wow great idea to get out it.

    I hope you know, it is never worth your personal safety to fight back. Even me at 6 foot 3 and knows how to pacify, I would still give up my goods rather than risk someone getting hurt.

    But I would also make note of features such as tattoo's, eye color, height, clothes etc so the police can track the offender(s) down.

    The part I left out is that someone behind me didn't like the attempted mugging and let the would be muggers know. Physically. A big guy. He held them for police apparently from what I was told after
