So my Dh and I were planning on doing yard work today but it was raining so we decided to go shopping.

    Wal-Mart

    4 Aspirin $3.67= $14.68 -$24 in coupons = +$9.32
    2 Stay Free pads $3.97= $7.94- $5 in coupons=$2.94
    2 Resolve $2.00= $4.00- $1.50 in coupons=$1.50
    1 Purex with Zout $5.00 -$3.00 coupon=$2.00
2 packages of chocolate bars $2.50=$5.00 No coupons

    My Total was $8.17

I was so excited, $4 of that was tax, darn tax grrr, I actually only got the chocolate bars because I am still a little nervous about getting overage, but DH wanted so it all worked out.

We also went to SDM and we went to the clearance bins (we both think Shoppers is way to over priced even with coupons) and it was all Christmas stuff, I was a little disappointed but DH loves Christmas and he went a little crazy but it was all good, I am not sure exactly what he bought because his mom was throwing stuff in the basket as well but when I saw the receipt I was blown away.
He got 31 items for $12.14 no coupons or anything and on the receipt it said saved $69.70

We also when to The Bay and found a sheet set regular $69.99 and paying with tax $35.37 I was excited because these were like 500 thread count sheets and European cotton woot woot

Nice finds, good for you guys! I find Shoppers really expensive too but love the deals I find on their clearance shelves.

Me too, just 2 weekends ago we found a soft sided cooler there for a dollar, seriously I am so convinced the guy marked it down wrong but hey that is what he marked it down as regularly 9.99 and it works great in the car for water and other drinks.

I'm dying of jealousy about the Xmas stuff. I am a Christmas freak as well. I must go check my local SDM's and see if there's anything!

The sheets were awesome, I did find they were a little warm for this time of year, but willing to deal with it because they are so comfy
