As some of you know I was a young single mom, when I had my oldest I was 17 and the father just wasn't ready. Thankfully there are a lot of support here in Ottawa for young moms and I was able to make a decent life for my son and I while finishing my schooling. Now with couponing I am able to give back a little bit. Now, (9 years later) My husband and I decided that we would make 25 gift bags for some of the moms for Christmas, I have been working hard on it for a few months and they are now ready to be assembled. Included in each is:

Herbal essence shampoo & conditioner
Nivea deodorant & lip balm
olay bar of soap
tooth brush
tooth paste and
glade solid

it may not seem like much, but it will help these young moms a lot and it was a lot of work to gather 25 of each of these. But it feels really good to be able to start giving back.

Earlier in the year jasper and char roaked me a bunch oh coupons for the herbal essence, and they helped me a lot. Thank you again!

Snow in the summer donated a bunch of stuff to me for the bags today and I would like to say a huge thank you. I have also added a picture of my very full dining room table with all the donations before I bagged them.

This is is why I love this site so much, we are such a strong community!

Thanks, it was a lot of work. And I had to collect it all over a long period of time so I didn't clear any shelves. But it will be wonderful to deliver it all next week.
