I am a couponer...a sort of rant

Sorry I didn't mean to say that people who are careful about money are rude and jerks, I venture to say most aren't they are just very cautious with their money. Aka buying things on deals, coupons, whatnot.

Sometimes its a balanced relationship my guy buys what he wants when he wants it and pays cash.. he researches it a bit on the net and will take a peek at the stores but he buys things ie electronics as soon as they hit the store.. to watch the tv comfortably I'd need to be 2 streets over lol.. when he is buying food etc he just picks up what he wants and never looks at price. I encourage his spending because he works really hard , a minimum of 56 hours a week and deserves to have things he enjoys the little bit of time he is home

I'm very different.. I look at the price and put it back.. I love to get things cheap or free.. I only buy clothes when I need them.. ie if I have a weight change or things get ratty looking. same with shoes... I enjoy the savings, he enjoys the buying.. we balance each other out.. He likes that I save , not because he cares about the $$ but because it makes me happy.

I use coupons whenever I can ... (I also price match and stock up) ... because paying more than you have to for something, is like throwing money in the garbage. Seems silly, doesn't it?

I am not a hoarder and no, I have never been on Extreme Couponing, although I am sure they would love to see my stock-pile. The manufacturers willingly GAVE these coupons for me to use.

My coupons are as good as cash. My coupons are original NOT copied. They are Canadian NOT American and No, they are not EXPIRED! The store WILL GET PAID!

I carry my coupon Binder with pride and I do not believe in paying full price!

I believe that one coupon per purchase means one coupon per product, NOT One Per Transaction!

I believe that a store’s Coupon Policy should NOT change daily.

I believe that any coupon that makes a product free, is a DARNED GOOD COUPON!
