Actually, I tried that.
I told her I wouldn't report her to the tenant board and request she pays those fines, if she paid me back, but she wouldn't even sign that she had read it and didn't agree (I left a spot blank, 1 for signature if agreed, and another spot if received and not agreed, even gave a copy), which she is refusing to sign anywhere on it.
I'm taking pictures of EVERYTHING (including where the nails are sticking out of the floor where our door meets the laundry room, which has ruined countless socks, and scratched me many times).
We are actually going to be out by the 15th, so she should give us our last month back, for sure.
So, looks like she'll be going before the adjudicator, and paying fines on top of it all...

I remember you talking about a bunch of moms getting together as a group so all kids can play together and socialize. How is this going to work since you are at odds with her.

Landlord and Tenant board is great and you will likely get some sort of compensation too for your troubles. I did with the Labour board at least. So if it's anything the same... Anyway sorry you're dealing with this. Chin up, dear. ((hugs))

Well, I'm actually not going to be going any longer.
I would walk, but our new place is too far. Though, I already had found another mommy group I was going to join (because it's aimed for ages 20-30, so more for me, anyway). My original mommy group was on Tuesday's, and this one is on Friday's. But that's okay, I don't need to go to both.

I'm glad you're finally getting out. You and your family will be so much better. You new landlord sounds awesome. Kudos for being up front about why you're leaving and what the reference would likely say.

Ugh, we are moving out today and tomorrow, and you would think that would mean we could actually be left alone.
Well, nope. Here I am, 9AM, finalizing the packing, and she's banging on the door, shouting something (because I refused to answer), only thing I caught was something about me being a 'b**ch*.

Ugh, get out as fast as possible and be done with her. Good luck with the move!

It sounds like she has mental issues and I hope she gets help and doesn't do the same thing to the next tenant. Just remember you'll be free of her in a few hours

You may want to talk to the police - no need to file a formal complaint, but just to get some information - it could also be that a record of your concern is created, which may (but hopefully not) be needed in the future.
This is from the RCMP - it discusses the different types of stalking (criminal harrasment) and what to do: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cp-pc/crimhar-eng.htm
