I went thought some troubles getting on this deal today at Loblaws, but after two hours of work, things worked out. I came out and bf asked me if I won another fight again, lol. he thinks when I uses coupons, I should always be ready to fight.
After today, I believe Loblaws staffs and managers need to be more educated about the PC Plus program. What happened was, my first transaction, i did not meet the $100 mark(not sure why, since I did the math last night), may be I mis-calcalated something, and was too late, the receipt was already printed, and of course I got no points, since it was only $ 95.99. All the coupons I used was FPC, so the total was just the tax, which was 20cents. I took the receipt and ran to the customer service desk for help. First manager came over and ask why would I think I would be getting points when I m only paying 20cents. I tried to explain to her three times that manufacturer coupons are consider to be cash in the PC Plus Program! but she still don't get it and says she will not help me redo the transaction since there is no point to it. I even tells her to call the hot line to speak with an agent if she don't understand. She still ignored me and brushed me away and totally made me looked like a freak. Luckily another lady came over(not sure if shes a manager too), but she looked at my receipt and heard what I have said, she know what I meant! I said to myself, finally someone knows better here! she told me go to anther cashier and redo the whole thing and add items in my cart to make it $100. So thats what I did, and believe me, the cashier had the same idea as the first manager, OMG! she did 5 of the coupons and stopped, printed out a receipt, I ask her why, she said the system will only allow her to do a sudden amount of coupons at a time,.and said it won't matter anyways, since I m not paying anything. sigh.! at that point, I wanna to kill myself on the spot
. I went to get the second manager over to explain to her please do everything in one transaction so I can get the points. After some conversation, she finally do everything at one shot and yup, the points showed up on the screen. The whole thing would be a breeze if staffs knows better about the program.
I know its like a rant, but became a brag at the end. This thread is currently associated with: LoblawsLast edited by cinpow; Mon, Dec 9th, 2013 at 12:45 AM.

Good for you for standing your ground-know your "rights" and insist--what a result--$0.00 as a total and 20,000 pts. Beautiful!

Cinpow, it sounds like you're an expert on PC Plus points! I haven't signed up yet as I've been away and then sick. I've tried to get info from the website about how it works but I haven't had much luck. Do you always have to spend over $100 before you
get points?
