$80 coats for $5 at Target!

Not sure if this is just at Nash and Queenston location but I went into Target today to PM some Cheese and a lady told me that some of their clearance coats were coming up as $5! $79.99 Ladies Duffel Coat on Clearance for $39.99 came up for $5. I grabbed 6 coats (a couple for my sister) hoping to check another location when my husband gets home (as the mediums don't fit me). I'd love to hear how everyone else makes out!

Great find - were they marked down to $5 or did they scan incorrectly? Just wondering how you knew which were $5?

They weren't marked down--they just scanned at $5. It was kind of odd, the Plaid Beaver Canoe ones (right of pic) scanned with the associates gun at 35$ but at the till came up at $5. The staff was freaking and there were fights in the coat section. Glad I made it out unscathed.

It was kind of a crap shoot….anything that was clearance had a "chance" of being $5

I'm sending my dad to one of the stores here in Ottawa, he lives much closer than I do. Will update when he calls me.

There IS a $5 clearance on clothing, but as my target explained to me, the outerwear was incorrectly scanning at $5 as it was not supposed to have been included, and the pricing has now been corrected. But there was still tons of stuff for $5!!!

Oh darn. Well was good while it lasted. I did notice TONS of racks of $5 items. Just finished my christmas shopping unexpectedly.

OP the one you got green ladies peacoat.I got this one in dark pink colour.In my target the clothes are not scanning at $5 ..Instead they items are being override at checkout for $5.
Some other clearence items worth mentioning,infants cribs at $80,swings at some price I dont remember exactly....and a lot of stuff in every section.
RE dinnerware at clearance.....can be cheaper with %50 off catalina.

So it isn't an error? I may have to venture out again then. I saw some great baby deals too but unfortunately my son doesn't like shopping as much as I do.

I find it to be really hit and miss with Target. I went last week for cheese and the 2 close to me were out. You almost need to go there a few times a week to catch these good deals.

Oh well... Dont know what to do with everything from Target these days. Not really looking for something but if I can find coats for $5... sure... will try! IFFFFF I get a chance to head out!
