Recycle Walk @ 5am -NOT bad if I say so

Well decided last night that I was gong to venture out this morning for a nice stroll (excercise & recycle walk) well here's how I did

13 P&G
10 new Smart Source
8 new Red Plum
2 May Redplum (still has some valid coupons eg. Axe..)
6 July smart Source (whoo hoo Soup for $.04)
115 Areoplan Miles
30+ I coke pins
2 Cineplex movie download pins ?
2 boxes of Honey Combs with ALL $12 of coupons on both
4 Gas card pins (cereal boxes)
3 cans of apple juice with all its coupons on label
1 NEW sobeys flyer (as it never seems to get delivered here)

All of these in about 45 min ... not too bad -- would've stayed out longer but got chicken when I started seeing more and more people out and about .... LOL

WOW...amazing!....totally worth the few weird looks you get, right?
I've been on a few recycle walks and its starting not to bother me that people and cars slow down to see what we are doing.....haven't been asked any questions yet though....

yes your right it was totally worth it... just wish I had someone to walk with --as it's much more interesting and fun to have someone to talk to plus then you don't seem to look as weird ... LOL

Headed out at 5;30 last week for a recycle walk with a fellow SCer and we had a blast - found a ton of stuff.

I found that early morning is best.

yes your right it was totally worth it... just wish I had someone to walk with --as it's much more interesting and fun to have someone to talk to plus then you don't seem to look as weird ... LOL

What part of the city did you walk in? I live downtown and was thinking of trying a recycle walk myself.
