$270.00 worth of clothes for $10.00

My daughter was home from college for the Christmas break and sadly I had to drive her back to Chatham before the big storm that's coming our way. We went grocery shopping here in Windsor to stock her up before leaving. She was so impressed with my price-matching and couponing. (She knew I always got great deals but to actually see it, amazed her). As we were nearing Chatham, she realized that she hadn't bought coffee. I said no problem, we'll stop at Target. When we walked into Target they had most of their women's department marked down to $5.00. Most of the clothes left were smalls or extra smalls (which is what my daughter is)...nothing for me . She picked out 3 dresses, 1 skirt. 2 sweaters and 2 blouses...all for $40.00. Now for the best part, I had $30.00 in gift cards that I had got free during the last 2 months so....we got $270.00 worth of clothes for $10.00

P. S. We almost forgot to get the coffee!!! We were so excited about the clothes that we had to get out of the checkout line to go get out for the coffee!!! Lol

Yes, I think it's related to the bars and clovers and hearts people get. I think the gold hearts are really high "value".

BTW, for someone who is new, you are doing great with the deals. Your daughter is going back to school, but you gave her some valuable schooling even before she reached the campus.
