I have been a member of SC since joining in Feb 2011 (officially as I had been stalking the site for a while before that, LOL). I have used coupons and saved lots of money on deals found here. Nothing has made me happier though, than my education in SDM Optimum points. Thanks to all the girls (and guys) in the SDM thread I have learned tons. Everyone is always so helpful and provides invaluable information on point’s collection. I have had a very crappy 6 months, personally, and I get a smile on my face thinking about how much I have and how much I will save at SDM. Here are some totals (since Jan 2011)
Total points collected in 2011= 548,002
Redemptions – used this year 270000pts
95000 x 2 = $400 Bonus redemptions
80000 x 1 = $200 Super Bonus redemption

Total points saved for Christmas time bonus redemption = 278002
That is 2 x 95000 and 88002 (needing 6998 for another full redemption)
If there is a bonus 95000 for $200 at Christmas I should have enough to get $600 in free stuff/gifts/donations in addition to the $600 already purchased this year!
I have also reached Plus status getting me more offers through the year.
Also note that these points were carefully collected on 20x days, Redemption days and BP offers on products I need and use all of the time. My stockpile is stocked too. I really just started getting more groceries at SDM to not increase my weekly budget.
That is my points brag. Can’t wait until Christmas!!!!

Yes, SDM Optimum is a great program. The points add up very quickly and are useful in so many ways.

Way to go. I am pretty much a newbie to optimum points and have also learned a priceless amount of info from other SCers. I have accumulated a fab stockpile, a decent amount of points for xmas and redeemed a few times for $200 worth of groceries each time. I have a fave SDM where I go to get groceries too as they often have great clearance grocery items which I can still use coupons on and collect the points. Once you learn to work the system you wonder why you didn't do it before.

I agree! I never knew how to benefit from Shoppers until a few months ago and I'm already over 120000 points. If it wasn't for this site I still wouldn't know the way to collect massive amounts with the smallest cost. I'm impressed at how many you have. Great job!!!
