I only found the Elf on the Shelf at one store. Went back twice for them.
I think because the stickers say $32xx on them, people were thinking they were that price, and didn't realize you got 90% off that sticker.
Even the Elf Chef Set, it said $8.99 on the sticker (people probably assumed that was the price).
It was a HUGE find. The lady beside me also took 6 (that's when I had two). We both went back the next day to buy more (funny that we ran into each other again).
I've already given one as a gift and will save the rest for gifts for next year.WHATT, You aren't doing Swagbucks? http://swagbucks.com/refer/acosta22

lucky, all the baking stuff here is still 50%/70% off...people where bring them to the cashier tempting to get the price adjusted to 90%, but failed, there is piles of baking stuff left at the cashiers. but I know eventually they will be 90% off too...or I hope....

The Target I was just at, had barely anything left. They had the baking stuff in its own section. The people working were telling shoppers it was 90% off. So maybe today is the day it starts being 90% off?!
I know when I first bought some baking stuff on Monday, I was given the discount because the cashiers had no idea what was 90% or not (customers and cashier were confused as the liquidation JUST started). I'm sure on Monday, I wasn't supposed to get the 90% off. But the other days, the cashiers took the 90% off themselves. Like everywhere, I guess it depends on the cashier you get.
They were found near the linens NOT with all the Christmas stuff. Just like the Snowflake rug I bought ($1.99) They towels are thick, too! I really like them. It's a pack of two, regular $6.99 for $0.69.Last edited by acosta; Fri, Jan 10th, 2014 at 02:22 PM.

You did a great job! I went today and will post later but our store was not lowering prices on baking stuff past 50 per cent. I'd love to look for the Elf on the Shelf book! I can feel a return visit coming on!

no further discounts on our baking items either. I tried to do the spatulas etc today and they were $2.50, not much left anyways. I don't know why they don't just slash it all and get rid of it at this point.

hahah too funny Patty!!
If you go back (who am I kidding,) when you go back (haha), walk up and down all the rows and you might be able to find those towels and rug.
The rug, an employee found in with linens and was going to walk it to Christmas but I said I would take it from him. He was very pleased as he didn't have to walk across the store, and I was equally happy as I scored a cheap rug!
They were both in the same area - linens. :DWHATT, You aren't doing Swagbucks? http://swagbucks.com/refer/acosta22
