The Courtenay BC Store is closing in 10 days Expect another round of closing announcements.

I was there last night- pretty slim pickings and only found 1 or 2 of the deals posted here in that store- most items scanned at regular price. This week they had discounts on Tues & Thurs.

They did get a pallet of Christmas stuff in, but it disappeared in an hour the cashier said. I still managed to spend $150 stocking up on things I know i can't get anymore like party supplies, baby clothing, make up (but all just regular price minus the discount) and the store was a MESS!

Deal alert Many items in Women's lingerie were being marked with clearance tags. So a $20 bra or shape ware turned into $7-$9 with an additional 40% discount. (not many sizes, styles left here, but worth a browse in other stores)

Yep. Last time I was in Dollarama they had the little square Circo pictures that were on clearance late last summer.

I'm not sure, but apparently the Nanaimo store had even less stock than the Courtenay Store. (unless they received shipments?)

EDIT: Update- according to FB rumours Campbell River, Comox & Nanaimo are all closing in 10 days. Both CR and Nan are very low on stock.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why it's hard to find a basket when shopping at Target

Ya, the Ancaster store isn't what it used to be There are a few scanners still up by toys, clothes, towels and the check out.

Ancaster Target looked like a bomb went off, and that was at 7pm. I hadn't been in a few weeks and, sadly, I think tonight was my last time there. They removed all scanners. To me, if feels degrading to have to wait in a line to have an item scanned for a price. Especially when you have a cart full of stuff and have to take turns with other customers.
I asked and an employee said it was because too many people were leaving unwanted items behind. So, to everyone: please keep your stores clean if you like having scanners, LOL. She said they literally have a mountain of stuff to re-shelf. No real deals there, either.

Getting ready for exam times; got myself Champion watch for 14.99 after 40% discount even though it was marked 19.99 on it and on there so should have been $12.99...lost three dollars and they said there is nothing they can do...oh well...but Center Mall location in Saskatoon has grocery almost gone except for few 'dead' stuff like below: []

I spent $90 yesterday and went back today for more. Found the fox thermal top I wanted for a long time but never found my size. Today there's like 10 in my size so I bought one @ $6.50. There employees are super friendly and nice per usual. (So gonna miss Target).

(BTW, WM already hiked the price of the Mama instant noodles. Usually 28 or 33 cents...today I found out they increased to 37 cents.)

While I was in the change room someone stole my cart (which I asked the fitting room girl to keep an eye on for me). Luckily the thief put my items on the shelf so while walking around I found my items, otherwise I would be super pis**d)

Onespot items are only 40% off.
