Dear Katie,
Thanks for asking us about using coupons at Target. Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping with us, and it's easy to use them at our stores. Because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how coupons can be redeemed at Target.
Here’s some answers to commonly asked questions:
- We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued and manufacturer-issued.
- We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.
- We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in this case, we're able to adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.
- We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
- All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you're checking out.
- We don’t accept expired coupons.
We know the importance of having well-trained team members, and I know it can be frustrating if you receive inconsistent information about our services. Hearing your comments is very important to us, and I’ve shared them with the Xxxx Store Leadership team for further review.

I was told that clearance has to be returned to the store bought at (since the other store did not carry that item any longer)
Again, the conversation is useful but can we keep this thread for just clearance deals and start new threads in discuss coupons/deals or shopping discussion to discuss the coupon policies / return policies of target

you sure can. None of the target's return and exchange policy prohibits that. The system accept the clreance items in exactly the same way as it accepts normal items. Even if it's a faulty return any store can take it back since they are running on the same system. The system accept the barcode on receipt no matter which branch you bought it from. Hope that helps

I found these at the Millwoods Center in Edmonton:
Little Tikes Lean to Turn Scooter for 11.99
Bounty paper towel 2 rolls for 1.74-$1 target coupon. This comes out cheaper than the 6 rolls advertised in the flyer!
Tide pacs 18 for 3.49-$1 target coupon
