I am thinking of moving to Distributel from Bell. I am tired of paying the high fees. I am worried about the bad reviews online of Distributel. Anyone with good or bad comments about this company?
Their bundles are significantly cheaper by $60 a month. This thread is currently associated with: BellLast edited by chillys-willy; Sat, Jan 25th, 2014 at 08:35 AM.
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

Lot of times its Bell who tries to play dirty , when you switch..as the lines are still Bell and they are just leased by third party resellers like teksavvy, distributel , acanac etc.
I am with 3 Web which is now owned by Distributel and have no issues whatsoever.
But I remember when I switched from Bell to 3 Web , Bell was messing up with my line and they didn't properly switch my lines and were giving 3 Web a hard time to do it as well.
So first 2-3 weeks I had major issues , with Internet being slow etc.
But after that everything was smooth.

I was on Distributel for years, and I have friends (and my mom) who still use it. I always thought they were great.

I have tried this. The first time it went well. This last time they took $5 off the bill - not enought to stay. I've just heard about bottle necking on the internet. That is my biggest concern being that it is unlimited internet. Also, hate giving up my email account but for $700 - $900 a year, I think I can deal with it.

Thanks for all the input. I know that alot of times the reviews are all skewed to the negative so I wanted a more balanced opinion.

I was with distributel, and they were good as long as the internet was working. I hated to call in and talk to someone because that always took a long time on hold. Technical support had a long wait and their call back service did not always work.

I love this company for long distance calls.
