Vyacheslav was born on September 28, 1986 in Krivy Rih, Dnipropetrivsk Oblast. He served as Senior soldier, senior gunner in the antitank platoon of the 46th Separate Special-Purpose Battalion “Donbas-Ukraine”. In 2004, he graduated from Kryvy Rih Professional Mining and Metallurgical College, specializing in Electrogas Welding. He worked as an electric welder at MK-Montazh LLC, and enlisted in November 2016.
Vyacheslav leaves behind his wife and a 7-year-old son.

21-year-old Kostyantyn Roma died of bullet wounds near Vodyane, Donetsk Oblast on August 8, 2017.
Konstyantyn was from Kozelshchyna, Poltava Oblast. He served in the 9th Motorized Infantry Battalion “Vinnytsia” of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. He enlisted in the Armed Forces in February 2017.
Konstyantyn leaves behind his mother, sister and a baby son.

Vasyl Artamkin died of cardiac arrest near the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk Oblast on August 11, 2017.
Vasyl was born on September 5, 1962 in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Oblast. He served as sergeant, mechanic-driver of the artillery division of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He enlisted on March 31, 2017, and was deployed to the war zone on June 6, 2017.

Ihor Shapoval was killed by a tripwire mine near the village of Pisky, Donetsk Oblast on August 10, 2017.
Ihor was born on May 18, 1975 in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast. He lived in Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad Oblast. He served as junior sergeant, commander of the intelligence division of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. He studied at the Dnipro School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 2005, he graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. From 1997 to 2007, Ihor worked in internal affairs as a criminal investigation officer. From 08.08.2015 to 10.10.2016, he served as a reconnaissance officer in the 42nd Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade “Resistance”, and then enlisted in the Armed Forces on 31.03.2017.
Ihor leaves behind his parents and young daughter.

42-year-old Oleksandr Trehub died from heart failure in Maryinka, Donetsk Oblast on August 11, 2017. Oleksandr was stationed at a control point near Maryinka in 40 degree heat when he suddenly felt faint. His colleagues administered first aid, but he died on the way to Kurakhivsk Hospital.
Oleksandr was a senior police sergeant who worked as a criminal investigator for 21 years. In 2014, he did not betray his Oath when Russian troops arrived in his area, and left Donetsk for Mariupol, where he continued serving. As part of the special police force, he was stationed in almost all the hot spots in Donetsk Oblast, in particular Maryinka, Avdiyivka, Debaltseve, etc.
He leaves behind his wife and two daughters, 12 and 14 years old.

Missing Ukrainian colonel found dead in Donbas combat zone

The body of Ukraine’s National Guard’s Colonel Oleksandr Boyko was found in the hostilities zone of Luhansk Oblast after months of searches, the body was eventually transported to the Ukrainian-controlled city of Severodonetsk.
Boyko, who commanded the National Guard’s Special Forces, went missing on June 3, after a combat mission near the town of Zolote in Luhansk Oblast.
According to the National Guard’s press service report dated June 20, the missed serviceman was presumably taken prisoner by Russian-backed militants
Before his death, Boyko served at the Vega Separate Special Forces Detachment located in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, and earlier – at the 8th Special Forces Regiment in Khmelnytskyi.

Valeriy was born in 1997 in Liubymivka, Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Before enlisting, he was a student at the Zaporizhzhya National University. He served in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Lieutenant Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Boyko disappeared in the war zone on June 3, 2017.
The special reconnaissance group under the command of 35-year-old Oleksandr Boyko was ambushed near Zolote, Luhansk Oblast. Oleksandr was seriously wounded during the bombardment.
A few days ago, spokesperson for MIA Artem Shevchenko reported that Oleksandr’s body had been found i9n the war zone by a special search group and transferred to Severodonetsk.
Oleksandr served in the National Guard of Ukraine, div. 1241. Prior to this, he served 10 years in the 8th Special Purpose Regiment in Khmelnytsky.
Oleksandr Boyko will be honoured in Khmelnytsky on August 19, 2017.
