Thread: Checkout 51 Question

I've noticed that they aren't too picky about what specific product you are submitting. For example when some offers are only on a certain type, the receipt often doesn't say which type you bought. So for the TRESemmé styling products, your receipt most likely will only say TRESemme no matter what product you are buying. This is similar to the sizing.
I've noticed that the receipts at Sobeys are very vague, for example "bread" is printed not that you bought a certain brand. Which I think is why CO51 is lenient

Wasn't sure whether to start a new thread but the title seemed appropriate.
I'm brand new to CO51 - 2 weeks only. It seems pretty easy to use - I had two receipts from walmart - and because the UPC is on the receipt it seems to get approved faster than others. Had one from SDM - had to buy 2 of the same product - on the receipt one came through properly but the second didn't show the same wording - wasn't sure it would go through (I'd purchased two of the Dove Men Care Soaps - different scents) one showed as just Dove on the receipt and the other came through as Dove - Men. It took a couple of hours to get approved but came through problem. Nice deal $2.99 at SDM - less $2 unilever coup WUB2 and then CO51 - $3.50 - cost me $.50 for two packs...
But the reason I held off so long on joining it was the uploading of receipts with too many details about me - credit/cash/ loyalty/reward card numbers etc. .... Anyone else have a hesitation about this?

No hesitation on my part dahlia. I love CO51. They have been very quick to process receipts. I don't buy their offers every week but I still think they are very good. Good luck!!!

The credit card/loyalty card numbers are usually blurred out on receipts. The only store that I know of that doesn't blur out loyalty card numbers is Longo's. I don't think anyone can steal your identity with only 4 numbers or so out of 16. I think you will be ok
. If you are worried about it you can always scribble them off with a marker

Just used checkout 51 for the first time in a couple if months, and found out it's now compatible with my tablet! I missed so many offers because I had to come home, boot up the computer and scan in the receipt. Yay!

I just bought something that requires barcode verification - never have before and when I submitted my receipt there was no prompt for this - when I look in their help section there is nothing on barcode verification. Does anyone know how to actually do it? As I already submitted my receipt I assume they'll reject it but it's weird - I thought there'd be a prompt to scan the code...

I submitted a receipt for a product with a barcode verification a couple weeks ago. I took a picture of the receipt and once I select what product I was claiming, it prompted me to scan the barcode. I had some problems with it at first but it eventually worked. Once it verifies that the barcode of the product you are claiming is correct, you can continue with the regular procedure of submitting it. At least that was what I had.
