Watched the INDY instead, interesting finish to say the least.

well the aussie won at Watkins Glen. a very exciting race at the end.
poor david ragan & david reutimann, they went for a very wild ride. apparently boris said got into the ragan, who went slamming into the wall, bounced back out onto the track & hit reutimann, who then went flying into the air, landing back on the wheels, but also slamming into the wall.
denny hamlin was another who earlier in the race really slammed head on into the tires & wall trying to go into a turn. he said something blew in the front, causing the brake line to go & he had no brakes going into the turn. the back wheels were still a spinning, while the front were locked up.
kurt busch met with a similar fate when his left front tire blew going into the corner & he ended up into the retaining wall. his car wasn't nearly as smashed up as denny's, but his day was over.

denny's crash into the wall. he walked away fine. attributes it to the 7 point harness, that's more secure than the 5 point.

reutimann going airbourn after ragan hit him bouncing off the wall.
