Yeppers....only several months ago, the thought alone of shopping made me
. Learning from all you folks here has turned that right around
.
Received some super fantastic trades, found some great deals this week and a wonderful variety of tearpads as well as some amazing coupons from my dentist.
My most prized finds I think were the Snuggles that was a manager's special at Brunet Pharmacy...2.99$ - 1.50$ cpn = 1.49$ and Colgate Advanced Health full-sized toothpaste (exp. 2013) on liquidation at Zellers for 1.75$ - 1.50$ cpn = 25 cents each!
Total paid for 4x Snuggles (55 load) and 8 toothpaste = 7.96$ plus taxes. To think that I'd spend that amount alone on a single bottle of fabric softener a few months back
. Thanks again everyone

You lucky girl for scoring those deals! Good for you!
I was the same way about shopping....hated it with a passion. Now I go out every day to "see what I can find" with DS. It really is amazing what we can learn from each other.
Keep it up!

I feel you on this one, I didn’t like shopping and would spend a fortune doing it to!

Me too. I would dread having to go shopping due to the costs. Now I get a rush when I get a great deal. I have a lil stockpile which makes me feel great too.

Good job. I know exactly how you feel, I just started couponing in June and I have saved approx: $500.00 already. Its so crazy how you can buy so much stuff with so little money. Keep up the good work.

Phew, and I thought I was a little weird for hating it so much, lol. I think it wasn't only the guilt for having spent the money before but, also the guilt for not having spent it on something I know my family would have enjoyed
. Moonstarmom, I get you...my bulging pantry and storage room can attest to that now too, lol.
I never used to stock up on much of anything before finding SC. The downside to that was not being able to wait for sales when we did need something. We're not only good for several months on daily necessities now but, I get to help friends and co-workers out by picking up stuff that they need as well.
Thanks again everyone for sharing all your tips...not just with sales and using coupons but for all other money saving strategies as well.~RRLF $0.75 Organic Meadow, $1 Almond Fresh~

Awesome!!!
I feel the same way
I will never pay laundry soap and fabric softener at regular price again...I bought a lot of Purex for free pratically(taxes and maybe 0,50$per bottle) and La Parisienne Softener bottles for 1,79$ I think or lower....feel great hen?
