I managed to score big while dragging 4 young boys around town!
They are learning about couponing (ages 3 to 11) and doing really well!

With the freshco/price chopper flyers in hand we went to Zellers, home of the over priced cereal (tons of great coupons die on the shelf there). We happily rescued 14 boxes of Fiber 1 (were $4.19, PM to $2.99, saving me $1.20 for each box I bought), all had the $5 free ice cream coupons on them!!! These fabulous coupons die at the end of Aug. For around $45 I am set for cereal for a few months, and we got $70 in free ice cream to pick up(and store) by the end of the month
The boys were so excited about a good deal AND a GREAT coupon! So they said lets see about free hamberger...
SCORE! We used the same flyer to PM HH and all 10 had the $3 meat coupon! Woohoo! Thanks to this little coupon I haven't paid for ground beef in months and have a heck of a lot in my freezer. It's the little coupon that keeps on giving

So on to Walmart to grab some free ice cream (Chapman's frozen yogurt is soooo good and only $4.27!), used 5 coupons, and scored 10 PM HH, and got 10 tubes of free meat ($2.98 each).

Giant tiger has the school glue on sale... $1.50 in the flyer... $1.49 on the shelf, but a paper marked $1.50 on the shelf too... hmmm. When it rang up as $1.50, I said there is a lower price on the shelf, they confirmed (someone should have removed last weeks price), and got it FREE with a SCOP

Along the way I treated the boys to some marked down brownies, buns and a whole case of little apple juices. The best part was bowls of ice cream BEFORE supper We need to make room in the freezer for more free ice cream, you know

It is $2.99 in the price chopper flyer and the freshco flyer. It's getting harder to find the boxes with the free yogurt on them, though. Trenton has a bunch.

MMmmmm I'm on Chapman's frozen yogurt withdrawl! My two #1 favs are the "Mint choco chip", and the "red cherry" the cappacino one is pretty bad though !!) its so sad our entire town is sold out of the $5 any ice cream coupon (including Zellers! They still have the cereal with coupons from hasbro $5 games which expired like a year and a half a go and some other even older coupons!! (one from about 3 years ago) all cereal is expired )..

    Awesome brag!!!!!!!!!!!!
In 2010/11 I used over $7700 in coupons!
My 2012 goal is $6000 in coupons!

Great brag! You started pretty early teaching the boys the art of couponing! It will pay in the future for sure. Happy for you!

I was out again today... 7 boxes of HH @$1.99 (only 4 had the blue coupon), 7 $5 packs of meat (all marked down 50%... $2.50 each!) . I paid $10.76 for 7 boxes of HH, and $35.26 worth of ground beef! I saved 79% on the original cost!
