Happy Friday!! :sweet:
It has been quite a challenge over the last 14 years. My life sure changed in every single aspect. I lost my right leg below the knee due to neurofibrosarcoma or we can just say Cancer. My recovery was gradual & there was so much for me to learn. It wasn't until October that I was fitted with my first prosthesis & began taking baby steps once again. Was it ever a good feeling to walk up my own driveway again. Most notably, the severe jolting pain was finally gone. It's been quite a journey for me & for my family too. I guess I should have been listening when *they* said that life isn't always going to be easy.....because they weren't kidding. Let me conclude this blurb by saying that I truly am grateful to be here,
(also I just simply must slip in a picture of my 2 little grandsons)

Wow Loocie!!!! You are so right, life is not always easy but no matter what, we have to hang in in difficult time so that we can enjoy every minutes when life's is good. There is more good times than bad ones and we, I should say, I have to remember this. I sure don't see the good times when life throw some curve at me, specially when it comes to health. Thank you Loocie for sharing your tough journey with us as it give me strength to go through tough time..........................................:-)

You keep on pedalin', spreading the word, sharing of yourself as you are going through so much; you are a star!
your grandchildren are so adorable!
Good day all.
I've been asked by Loocie to post on her behalf as she really can't see more than a total blur right now.
She's getting the cataract surgery next week and she wanted you all to know that she'll be back when she can.
This way we're not left worrying or wondering or posting things that she can't see.
Let's send her cyber hugs for a successful surgery.
