Mini-poodle - (m) Jesse - "champagne" colour - according to the vet ID - our snuggle bug - 8 years old - adopted from a Humane Society - he had been a "not-so-well-thought-out" Christmas Present. They turned him in and we met him on Valentine's Day.
Mini-schnauzer - (m) MAX (always spelled with capitals) - grey mix with BLACK circles around his eyes and dark brown eyes - a real snoop! and a barker! We should have called him "Bob" (Barker)- about 6 years old. He was abandoned in the "Off Leash Dog Park". I figure it's like leaving a baby at a church - they KNEW he'd be among friends who would take care of him. Adopted from our local SPCA.
They are currently the mucky loves of our lives! Both DON'T like to be left alone!!! (do you wonder why?)

My red Maine Coon cat is named Apollo. No, not the space flight. I named him Apollo after the Greek God because he thinks he's a god.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
- Terry Pratchett is credited as author of this, as quoted in Chicken Soup for the Soul : What I Learned from the Cat (2009) by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Amy Newmark; also in Ghost Cats : Human Encounters with Feline Spirits (2007) by Dusty Rainbolt, p. 7
- Variant: In ancient times, cats were worshiped as gods. They have never forgotten this.
- Quote attributed to unknown author, in Chicken Soup for the Soul Celebrates Cats : And the People Who Love Them (2004) by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Sharon J. Wohlmuth, p. 1.

I have 2 roommates. Lily dog is a 10.5 yr old lab/collie/greyhound/? mix who knows a ton of tricks and does chores (she`s particularly enthusiastic about putting dirty laundry in a hamper and untying my shoelaces). Quincy cat is a 7 yr old formerly feral kitty, who does doggy tricks (shake hands, wave bye, he`ll even lick his paw when asked) and LOVES to be held like a baby (he especially has a thing for little girls who can squish him and kiss him and he just purrrrrrs).
Tory fish (young Betta, roughly a year old) was royal blue with white fins when I got him (Tory is short for Toronto Maple Leafs, since he was those colours) but the white has faded to just the edges of his fins. He is now living with my Mom to keep her company, now that my Dad is gone. He`s the first fish I`ve known who LOVES attention and will touch noses through the tank and goes crazy when someone talks to him (those who know me say only I can communicate with a fish ).
Here is my naughty boy trying to eat my Mom`s palm tree while my girl does her best to ignore him.

I have Shameous McFinn. He is my daughters huge (16 lb) orange and white cat but while she is in Saskatchewan until the end of August...he has become my cat (and I might have to hide him when she returns since I really don't want to return him). I also have a 6 lb 13 year old yorkie named Gizmo. He is my baby and he gets along so well with my daughters cat which usually doesn't happen. They both have brought so much enjoyment to my life.
