Darn, I'm volunteering at Globalfest tonight. I have a ton of coupons that expire Aug 31st and I was hoping to give them away.

Is coupon stacking finally over! I was turned down at LD Brentwood using Dove and Aveeno coupons that said "may not be combined with any other offer". Please help...

I emailed LD through their webpage and got the following reply:

"Dear ??? (deleting my name for privacy!)

Thank you for your inquiry.

Coupons that specify "cannot be combined with any other offer" can be stacked however coupons that specify "cannot be combined with any other coupon offer" cannot be stack or used with any other coupons. If there is any confusion or you are experiencing difficulties with the use of your coupons on your purchase please feel free to ask for the Store Manager or a member of management to clarify the situation.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance and thank you kindly for shopping with London Drugs. We look forward to serving you again in the future. "

Sorry not going to be able to make it tonight. Both DD and DH won't be home till almost 8 tonight. It's a 30-45 min drive out there so by the time they get home and I get on the road it will just be too late.

I think some ads on kijiji are delusional. I have seen prices for toys for more then they are at the store. I always think" I hope some poor person doesnt get suckered in" Many people dont know their prices and think " Oh that must be a good price if its used"

Do you check prices at CS on your way into the store? If you have 2 of the same item, can you PM one and get the last sale price on the other?

My understanding, and please everyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong, is that they will PM one item and give you the last sale price on the rest of them. I usually check with CS when I go in to PM to find out what the last sale price was to make sure it is worth buying then or waiting for a better sale at LD, as the items I typically buy are usually on sale at one store or another.

I had a disturbing conversation tonight with a manager at LD. The coupon misuse and fraud is increasing to the point where vendors for LD are starting to talk about pulling the plug on stacking. P&G has already done it as we all know. She said that it is not just new couponers but people staff trust are pushing through coupons that are not stackable or valid. She wasn't talking about a few mistakes but people deliberately and knowingly using coupons when they shouldn't be.

Personally I don't get it!!! Coupon stacking is one of the BEST ways we have to save money. All it takes is a little patience to wait for the right coupons and the right sales. There is no need to try and cheat the system and use coupons that are not valid for those purchases. If this continues or increases coupon stacking as we know it seriously could come to an end at LD.

I find that quite disturbing as well. I was taught to stack by one of the best and although I have only been doing this a short while, I am amazed at how much money I can save.

I hope that whoever is doing this sees these posts and stops. It will not only ruin it for the rest of us, but for them as well.

I read that some have tried to return an item for full price that coupons were used to buy? Despicable.
