Does anyone know where I can purchase affordable prescription glasses? I know about clearly contacts, but I was looking more for a store where I can go in and try them on.
Thanks in advanceThis thread is currently associated with: ClearlyContacts.ca

I got new glasses just last fall, and it turned out the cheapest place to get them were through my optometrist, and I had done tons of looking around. I was pleasantly surprized, because I know it's not always that way.

If you have a Costco membership then you definitely should try them out! That's where my whole family normally buys our glasses.

If you're not looking for brand names then try Hakim optical.

We got a Costco membership just for prescription glasses. Shopping at Costco is an added perk, lol.
If you like your old frames with old prescription, try taking them to Walmart. Years ago, they will put your new prescription in your old frame. I did this years ago, they will also put prescription lens in your sunglasses frame. Costco does that too, but I think they will only do it if they sell the exact frame. Does not hurt to ask.

I'm looking for some glasses for people who don't need them - ones that are affordable, and don't have any lenses in them.
I want them to look cool, but I don't really want those 'nerd-type' thick, black rimmed ones.
I want delicate ones, feminine and cooool!
Any ideas where I could buy some? I'm from the UK, but I don't mind shopping online
