$1.50 Copy Paper at Canadian Tire

Saw the deal for $1.50 for 500 sheets of Hammermill Copy paper. Called my husband to go and check it out on his lunch break (he works down the street). He got there and called to say they were all out before proceeding to check out the stuff he likes to look at. As he was leaving, an employee brought out a new pallet, and before he could fully unwrap it, people were grabbing paper. My husband says he has never seen anything like it.... these people seemed to appear out of nowhere. He did manage to get me 4 packages, though! Should last me two years in my home printer!

sounds like at walmart with the 200 sheet refill paper, same thing happened! Glad you got them though!

funny story! i could picture it in my head...like a flock of birds descending on a crust of bread! LOL sometimes the deal is so great, i'm one of the birds. glad you got some! I saw the deal this morning and headed out right away....got 10 packs as that's the limit...lots left.

People were buying full boxes of this paper when I was there this morning. I did manage to buy three packages. Canadian Tire should have put a limit on this as I believe some of the people buying this morning appeared to be business owners.

I think there's a limit of 10, but you know people will find ways to buy more.

I am going to miss out on this deal, can't go to CT.

What a sweet deal! There were lots at the CT in Waterloo. Got 4 packs and used CT money to buy them so free for me!

Wow, what a great deal!! I was going to get my paper from Zellers tomorrow for 2.88/pack. Well this sure beats that price! My family and I go through a lot of paper for work, and of course I use it for coupons too. Going to head to CT after chores today!

Went to 4 CT stores, 2 were out before the sale started, the other 2 had some left. How can a store be OOS even before the sale starts !?!
