similac chqs are HV - so trade them for other HV coupons - unless there are some regular coupons that you are RRRLF

Thanks for your help! What dollar amount in regular coupons would be fair? I have 5.00, 10.00 and 15.00 similac cheques, multiples of 5.00 and 7.00 similac coupons, what would each one be "worth"? I'm not sure that I'm looking for HV coupons, what if I just want day to day normal ones?!

I have always traded my formula cheques and coupons dollar for dollar if im not gonna use them im happy they would get used
i have even given mine away to a fellow Scer that runs a charity downtown.
I get that they may be highly sought after to those looking but have you seen the price of formula these barely scratch the surface.
As long as you make a trade that you and the other person are happy with or hold on to them til someone has something you want.

I was trading B1G1 movie tickets for 500 SDM points.
I traded one and was told they would give me 150 SDM because that was worth $15.
Have I been ripping off the other trader?

500 SDM points is worth a little over $1- I would say that is a very generous trade

At a bonus redemption like the one this weekend, which is SC's typical rate because we know better than to redeem lower and you don't want to wait for the 1-2 megas, it is 475 per $1

So 150 SDM is worth about 30c

500 sdm is only worth 0.625c at the lowest redemption level
8000=$10
4000=$5
1000=$1.25
500=0.625
250=0.3125
125=0.15625
So 150 points is about 20c
I think 500 pts is within reason considering it is esentially a movie ticket
That being said these pins are a dime a dozen so to speak you have to prepay online and order tickets ahead of time doesnt work for me
I traded mine for coupons etc that I could use as long as both parties agreed dont worry about past trades as they were agreed upon and everyone was fine at the time
As for trading for 150 it is def not worth $15 the movie pass I would argue is.
If you have them and are just going to recycle them trading them for 500 is reasonable heck even 1500 is reasonable.

What do you think a $5 Maxx Scoop valid only at Petsmart should be worth in just regular, ho-hum coupons? Is it less because of the store restriction?

HV/FPCs are usually traded for other HV/FPCs

• $10 worth of HV coupon(s) - same in HV coupons / $3 GC / $20 reg coupons
• $10 worth of FPC coupon(s) - same in FPC coupons / $5 GC / $25 reg coupons

The 'value' of HV and FPC would be what SCers would pay for the product considering cents off coupons they would usually use and sale prices NOT max value on coupon or how expensive you can find it for to prove value.

What constitutes a Free Product Coupon (FPC): FPCs should be only those coupons that are completely free. HV coupons which allow you to get something free on the occasions it goes on sale that low are not FPCs (the sale may not come up before expiry, it includes tax etc)

What constitutes a High Value coupon (HV): HV coupons are those where you can get the product free on a great sale or 75% off the regular price. Users may also consider very rare/hard to get coupons as HV (like the $1 valid on Heinz Ketchup for example).

Generally people do not trade HV/FPCs for stamps.
Regular coupons = 10% value ($10 coupons is worth $1)
HV coupons = 25-33% value ($10 in coupons is worth $2.50-$3.33)
FPCs = 33-50% value (so a FPC for a product that is regularly on sale for $10 would be worth $3.33 - $5)

Sorry I'm confusing this. I was thinking in terms of startup bundles... $5 GC = $50 handpicked coupons and $5 GC = $100 random not handpicked coupons... By that logic I was thinking $5 should buy me 25 balance bars fpcs, but obviously I've got it wrong.
