You know, it's too bad we have to check the receipt each time. But more and more, there are errors. And it's a waste of gas/bus fare going back to the store to get the error fixed and get money back.
Wish everybody would take coupon girl's example and take the extra few seconds to check the receipt before leaving the store. The time spent at the customer service desk getting money back is so worth it.

Weird, eh? I was charged full price for an ITunes $25 GC last week. It was supposed to be on sale. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I called HO and they said it is the store's fault. This is true but why do they need to put a PLU on it instead of discounting the price in the cash register? Anyway, I went to the manager of the store. She wasn't sure how to deal with the error so finally said "Would you take a $10 SDM GC instead?" I of course was happy because it was alot more than the discount would have been. Good customer service but I was also very nice so win, win for all of us. I wouldn't tell HO which store it was because I like them and didn't want them to get into trouble.
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.
