Thread: 3 new keurig brewers dead in 6 months!!!!!!!!
-
Thu, Apr 17th, 2014, 11:23 AM #1
I am so not impressed with Keurig right now. Within 6 months
I have gone through three brewers! In Nov last year, brand new machine.
Never worked from the start. It was replaced, with the one I am using now.
It died on me today! I also brought another brewer in December that I
was also using, it just died on me TODAY as well!!!
How can 2 machines die IN ONE DAY????????? How is that even possible?????
(HEY I THINK I KNOW! THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A KEURIG FAIRY IN MY
HOUSE LAST NIGHT OUT TO DESTROY MY BREWERS!!!!!)
OK, I have to calm down because I have going to call Keurig and
let them know about my situation.
Wish me luck.
Thanks for listening. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Does yours need a filter? If you don't change them, it will ruin the machine. We didn't know this until after ours died too

I tried different outlets around the house. One of the machines simply turns on
and then no water comes out.
With the other brewer, it turns on and then water flows out all over the place!
Definitely faulty brewers!
BTW, I called Keurig about the issue and let them know what was going on.
They are sending me a replacement.Last edited by maggiespice; Thu, Apr 17th, 2014 at 12:32 PM.

It's great that they're willing to stand by their product and replace it! It's really weird that both of them died on the same day, probably a bad batch of brewers.

there was one model, I had it a couple of years ago, that had a problem with the pump. Store I purchased at exchanged it for me and good now. Someone mentioned, cleaning the needle, my parent's machine was flooding and once they cleaned this it was fine. They called Keurig and they were really helpful trouble shooting it with them. Good luck.

That's a lot of bad luck with Keurigs Just wondering why you were using 2 machines at the same time?
( I don't drink coffee so I don't understand the need for one but Hubby loves his coffee so we have a Tassimo)

I think there's routine maintenance like de-scaling or something that has to be done once in a while.
Do you use tap water or bottled water? I find bottled water has mineral build up and that may cause the machine stop working.Last edited by Decaf; Thu, Apr 17th, 2014 at 09:14 PM.

That's some bad luck with the brewers for sure. Glad to hear you are getting a replacement though. Hope this one works out better for you.

That's good that they are replacing it. My parents had Nova Scotia Power out awhile ago for whatever issue (can't remember now), and when the technician was done, he asked my mother if any appliances needed to be replaced in the last little while. She said she went through 2 microwaves within a couple of months, and he said it was probably because of the issue they were out for (something to do with the wiring from the pole to the house was old and bare in spots, but I'm not 100% sure now). He told her to put a claim in to have them reimburse her (she didn't as one was old and figured it was on it's last leg anyway, and the other was a couple years old as it was my sister's from when she used to have her own place and nothing happened to the new one as NSP came out soon after that).
