I was at my local nofrills today,
And I asked the cashier if they do price match by iPad or smartphone, and she said yes they do.
and she did price match all the items for me even the Chinese flyer,
so basically she did price match with any kind of flyer but with the valid date and store name,
items price matched, onions, tomatoes, oil, chapman's ice cream, cristie cookies, potatoes etc etc.
just wanted to know if all the nofrill stores do price match with smartphones, tablet or iPad,Or just my nofrill does.TIA

not that I know of at the no frills closest to me here .....but overall they don't like price matching and coupons all together, I drive out my way to another and they are sooooo good with coupons...two extreme stores....I would call the store to confirm before heading there.

My store doesn't even like matching other local stores. It seems to be an issue of some sort every time I try. They do not match Shoppers, Lawtons at all. So I generally do my price matching elsewhere. Good that your store does it though.

OP, like others have written, it depends on the store.
It's Jane's No Frills or Doe's No Frills, so as a 'franchise', they can make their own 'rules', along with head office's rules.

That's so good for you. The 2 NF near me only matches big chain grocery stores and even then find a reason why they cannot match. Which NF did you go to? Even Rcss told me they do not match all flyers any more. I had picked up all my fruits, veggies etc. And the cashier told me they don't match the Chinese flyers anymore, I was not impressed.

Mine will price match other stores, but they require the paper copy of the flier. They write on the flier, keep it, put it in their special binder, print off an extra copy of the receipt, fill out some paperwork, etc. Fortunately they don't make me wait the entire time while they do this. But they DO keep the flier.

Great job.. But I would rather just go to walmart for the price matching as I never have a problem with it nor use coupons.
I never really like going to superstore as it is always a Hassle to use even one coupon let alone price matching. They always try and make you feel bad in a line up.

There are mixed reviews of no frills price matching. Some have found that the stores get so strict on the quantity that it is not worth it. As said above every store is run by a owner so some have more lenient rules. Talk to your no frills and find out the policy. Momi got great results because she asked. If a no is the worst thing you hear then you have lost nothing. (remember to ask before you shop and be really nice, they like helping nice people!)

cheekysaver, it has been my experience at both NF I visit that asking nicely will not change
their PM " rules ".
In fact being nice has nothing to do with it. Perhaps Momi asked nicely, but the rules at her location are already in place, however, if one day they change them and no longer allow PM on Chinese flyers or no longer permit using a phone screenshot to show the flyer sale, then no amount of eye-batting will change that.

I for got to mention,
my Walmart store also honour 14 days lower price guaranteed,
which means if I bought an item at the store price or even I did price match and within 14 days I found that item for lower price at any other store they will do price adjustment for me.
so many times I even saw the cashiers doing price adjustment for themselves holding lots of receipts in their hands.
i also keep all my receipts up-to 14 days for price adjustment.
and I don't know about other Walmart locations, they do price adjustment or not.
