OVER-Free Donut at Tim Horton on May 17/14 for the 50th Anniversary

We drove through this morning and for each hot drink they offered us a free doughnut. Don't know how Long this is for or the complete rules. They were old fashioned glazed with coloured dots in the dough.

I went around 8pm and simpley asked for 2 birthday doughnuts (please and thank you for my bf and I) and she happily gave them to us.
They weren't displayed like other donuts, so at first I thought they were all gone. They're really tasty!

We went to Tims for our free donut. they were offering a free donut with every coffee or cold beverage ordered. Of course we accepted! But strangely enough lots of people didnt want one! Geeze i would of gladly taken theirs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Complain to the HO , I don't think any purchase was required ..& boycott this cheap outlet in future.

The HO probably reimburses these Tim's franchises for the free donut or probably gives them for FREE in the first place .

I got 6 in total ,we have 6 timmies in our town.I would definnetally have more if it was possible.I Wonder what they fo with the remaining one and if we can purchase it like a douzen this day?

My daughter got one when we went. I didn't get one for myself (even though I saw people getting multiples). It was still warm!

I went to one inside an Esso, bought a muffin but I had to ask for one, it wasn't being offered, and was told "oh, we're just giving them to ppl who purchase a hot beverage" - I looked at her like huh? but before I could say um, this promo is free, no purchase required, she handed me one anyway.
It was tasty warmed up in the oven.
