Brag 1: For the first time since we started dating 3 years ago, my DBF and I will finally be in the same city for longer than a 2 month period. He's moving to where I live to go to school and will live close by.

To celebrate this momentous occasion and also to save him from having to pack too many things, I dug into my stockpile and pulled out a whole round of goodies that he will need at his apartment. It also gave me a good chance to assess my stockpile and realize that I need to stock up on more kleenex lol. Which leads me to Brag 2.

Brag 2: I can't remember the exact breakdown of all of these items, but I got everything with sales, coupons, bonus redemption, and clearance. It probably cost me around $25 after taxes - but since he doesn't coupon, it would've cost him tons more. And it's great to be able to give him a useful gift!!

I've got Scott's paper towels and Royale bathroom tissue hiding behind all those cleaners and other bottles. And yes I took the pink sticker off the Gillette. LOL.

What a great idea! I was also thinking a great wedding gift would be a package made up for hundreds of dollars worth of items for the happy couple but didn't cost them the same as if they went to go get them!

Thanks all! I also have lots of Glade and AirWick smellies that I would've throw in for any other housewarming gift... but my DBF would probably just put those in a drawer and never take them out. LOL.

But I have a bridal shower coming up and I might do a basket of smellies as my gift.

Congrats Miabee that you will be together in the same city.
Your idea for a house warming gift is an excellent one. One less thing to buy when moving.
